To form the indefinite plural form of the noun, Norwegian adds -r
(or -er) to the indefinite singular.
This form is usually used with numbers or other quantity words, such as mange (many), noen (some).

*One-syllable et-nouns do not add an ending for indefinite plural. This is similar to the English “one deer, two deer”.
