All / alt / alle  as adjectives:

 all

used with uncountable, mass en-nouns Han spiste all maten.
(He ate all the food.) (nothing left)

 alt

used with uncountable, mass et-nouns De spiste alt brødet.
(They ate all the bread.)  (Nothing left. There might have been several loaves).

 alle

used with countable, plural nouns Han snakket med alle studentene.
(He talked with all the students.)

Alt and alle as pronouns:

 alt = everything Jeg liker alt jeg ser!
(I like everything I see!)
 alle = everyone, everybody Jeg tror at nesten alle snakker engelsk.
(I think that almost everyone speaks English.)
